Partnering with FoodChange, the food bank collects and distributes food to the poor and hungry throughout the five boroughs of New York City. They distribute food to community and emergency food programs such as soup kitchens, food pantries, shelters, Kids Cafes, low-income daycare centers, and senior, youth, rehabilitation and outreach centers. They also provide nutrition and food safety workshops.

Chefs possible involvement ranges from volunteering with the Food Bank, conducting food drives, or perhaps even becoming a recipient of Food Bank food once we have an established program in schools.
